Based on the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, we'll explore the basic philosophy and history of various techniques and experience them as unique methods of shifting our energy, our thinking, our patterns. We'll discover how these ancient tools have powerful implications in modern lifestyle, potentially addressing anxiety, sleep patterns, blood pressure, the endocrine system, the digestive system and more.

Amanda Trevelino C-IAYT, RYT500 is a yoga therapist with a personal pranayama practice for self health. She believes breathwork is powerful medicine and personalized to each individual. Amanda's training includes Self Awakening Yoga Therapeutics with Brahmanand Don Stapleton, Ph.D, founder of Nosara Yoga Institute; Yoga for Transformation with Yoganand Michael Carroll, Dean of the Kripalu School of Yoga; and Advanced Pranayama training with William Hufschmidt.
